Entry 01: The paper reeds
Beyond the lantern path, violet-edged reeds gather around the eastern inlet. At sunrise their leaves fold open in a slow wave, although the air is still.
The survey team marked three clusters on its hand-drawn map. No specimens were taken; the reeds are part of this fictional landscape only.
Entry 02: Blue hour at the watchtower
The old watchtower stands on a chalk ridge above the bay. Its windows appear blue for a few minutes after sunset. Visitors in this story use the tower as a landmark when walking back to camp.
